Jewelry For Nurses Is Stylish And Functional

By Corinne Daniel

Every woman wants to look great all the time. Most have strict beauty regimes which they go through every day. They will go to great lengths to look at their prime most of the time. Many will not even venture out their homes if they are not looking at their very best and this does explain why jewelry for nurses has become more stylish, rather than strictly functional.

For most of them the aim is to look young and vibrant. Many of them will spend at least one day a week at the day spa where they have manicures, facials and pedicures, as well as the regular massage. For such women, looking great is vital to their everyday life.

For professional women there is a lot more to do as they are in competition with men all the time. They have to ensure that they are dressed up every day. They cannot leave home without make-up or a suit of some sorts. The executive lady has to perform at her best every day. In order to have the right effect on anyone, she has to be dressed perfectly.

When it comes to accessorizing her outfit she is able to make use of a variety of accessories. There is a large variety of jewelry that she can use to accentuate any of her features. The trick when it comes to accessories is that they should not over power the outfit.

One will find that there are many professions where they people are limited to the items that they can wear. One such profession is that of a nurse. Although they are limited to what they can wear, it is still necessary that they wear the jewelry in order to look great. One wants the nurse to be properly presented with at least some make-up, a watch, possibly a wedding band a necklace and some nice earrings.

Of course it goes without saying, that all the nurse's jewelry has to be manufactured of precious metal. All the items should be made of gold, silver platinum or titanium. These are the only metal permitted in clinical conditions. Any other metals may carry germs which can be spread by the nurse. Any metal that tarnishes when it gets into contact with water is deemed dangerous and should be removed immediately as it is able to carry germs from one patient to the next.

Medical professionals should all wear watches in order to take your blood pressure and count your heart beats. These watches also have to be of the permitted metals as they can also carry germs from one patient to the other. Many nurses wear the medical watch which is worn on the shirt. This way the watch does not get in the way of the nurse.

Just as with any normal person, nursing staff also sometimes suffer from medical allergies. They too will have to wear medical alert pieces to inform doctors of their allergies. These items will also have to be of gold, silver, platinum or titanium. Such jewelry for nurses will be worn as a necklace or a bracelet with the information engraved on it.
